Millefiori River

An undulating S-curve glass art piece that can be wall mounted, displayed on a table in a stand, or upright if mounted on a stable base.  It measures 14-3/4” x 12” x 2”.  The flowing form of the clear glass base is highlighted by a brilliant river of intricate, handmade millefiori discs.  Along the perimeter of the millefiori river elongated gaps of empty space gently cut into the glass lend to the illusion of something that is moving and animated.  This is like two pieces in one as the millefiori have distinct and sometimes dramatically different appearance on opposite sides of the piece. The buyer should be aware that due to its shape, thinness, and slightly varied compatibility of some of the glass components that this is a fragile piece of art and extra care should be taken with it.
